I've been cooking for over 30 years. The kitchen is my happy place, and I'm happiest cooking for the people I love. I started My Casual Pantry in 2018 as an outlet for my creativity in the kitchen. Sharing recipes allows me to channel my passion into inspiration for others.

Learn More About Abbey
I'm a chips-and-dip-loving, coffee-centric foodie who enjoys planning lunch while eating breakfast and daydreams about dinner while having lunch. I love all things sweet and savory. 😊
WHERE I'M FROM - I was born and raised in Wisconsin and went to college in Iowa. After meeting my husband while working a summer job on the East Coast, I moved to Connecticut after graduation, where we lived for many years before moving to North Carolina. We have an adult daughter and a toy poodle.
FAVORITE THINGS - Morning walks, falling leaves, Thanksgiving, the color Navy blue, Sudoku, candles, morning coffee, and pretty platters.
WHAT'S IN MY CUP - Chai Tea Lattes are my guilty pleasure, but iced coffee or cappuccinos are my daily go-tos.
RECIPES FROM THE BLOG I MAKE MOST OFTEN - Green Goddess Dressing and Baked Chicken Breasts.
MY GO-TO RESTAURANT ORDER - Grilled salmon, grain bowls, or chopped salads... and ALWAYS fried cheese curds!
MOST ADVENTUROUS THING I'VE DONE - I took a scuba diving class in college and completed my certification dives in the Cayman Islands.
WHAT'S ON MY TV - Barefoot Contessa, Hallmark movies, and football.
I am grateful to everyone who visits the blog and makes and shares my recipes along the way. If you try a recipe, please take a moment to leave a rating and comment. I greatly appreciate your feedback and support.💗
