Triple Decker Turkey Club Sandwich
This sandwich is layered with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and chive mayo. Perfect for an easy weekday lunch or a fuss-free dinner.

Ingredients

slices
white bread
or bread of your choice
¼
cup
mayonnaise

tablespoon
chopped chives
salt and pepper

romaine lettuce leaves
cut in half crosswise

ounces
deli-sliced turkey or chicken

vine-ripened tomato
sliced thin

slices
bacon
cooked
Instructions
Toast the bread. (Note 1)
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, chives, and season with salt and pepper.
Spread one side of each slice of bread with the mayo.
Top one slice of bread with lettuce, turkey, tomato, and lettuce. Top with the second slice of bread, mayo side down, and spread mayo on the top.
Layer the second slice of bread with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and lettuce. Top with the third slice of bread, mayo side down.
Cut in half diagonally and again into quarters, if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Toasting the bread is optional but adds great texture to the sandwich.
Season the tomatoes with a touch of sea salt if desired.
