1teaspoonminced garlic
¼cupminced parsley
⅓cupfinely grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400℉. Slice the ciabatta in half lengthwise. Set aside.
1 loaf Ciabatta bread
In a small mixing bowl, combine the soft butter, garlic, parsley, and parmesan. Mix together until well combined.
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, 1 teaspoon minced garlic, ¼ cup minced parsley, ⅓ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
Spread the butter mixture in a thin, even layer on both halves of the bread. Place the bread on the baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden brown.
Notes
Be sure to use very soft, spreadable butter.
Spread the butter into a thin, even layer on both halves of the bread. Initially, it may not seem like enough butter, but it's more than enough. During recipe testing, I found that larger amounts of butter resulted in overly saturated and greasy bread.
To freeze garlic bread, spread the butter mixture on the bread, place it on a sheet pan, and freeze for 20-30 minutes, or until the butter mixture is solid. Wrap the bread with plastic wrap, then cover it with aluminum foil, or place it in a freezer-safe bag. Freeze for up to 3 months. To bake, unwrap the bread, place it on a baking pan, and bake at 375℉ for 20-25 minutes or until warmed through.
Leftovers can be wrapped tightly in aluminum foil and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the foil-wrapped bread in a preheated oven at 350℉ and bake for 15-20 minutes or until warmed through.
