Take avocado toast to the next level with this loaded avocado everything bagel. Creamy avocado spread on top of an everything bagel is a delicious way to start the day!
Meanwhile, cut the avocados in half lengthwise by running your knife from top to bottom until you feel the pit. Gently rotate the avocado until you have sliced around the whole avocado.
Gently twist the avocado to separate the two halves. Carefully hit the pit with the blade of your knife and wiggle the pit free. Discard the pit.
Scoop out the flesh of the avocado into a bowl. (Note 1)
Squeeze in the lime juice. Start with the juice of ½ of a lime and add more to taste. (Note 2) Season to taste with salt. Mash the mixture with a fork, leaving it as chunky or as smooth as you like.
Spread the avocado on the toasted bagels. Top with everything bagel seasoning, red pepper flakes, and more flaky sea salt if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Make cross-cuts in the flesh of the avocado before scooping it out. Creating these smaller chunks makes easy work of mashing the avocado.
If you prefer a slightly sweeter, less tart vibe, use lemon juice instead of lime juice.
